Progetto Fuoco 2014 will provide pellet manufacturers with countless opportunities for meetings and business deals. Indeed, the exhibition area for these companies will be named “PF – International Pellet Market”. The pellet requirements of the Italian market have aroused the interest of the leading manufacturers in Europe, Canada and the United States. Progetto Fuoco 2014 will be the venue for an authentic international pellet market where supply and demand will come together and prices will be agreed for supplies and deliveries.

There will be companies present from Italy, 15 other European companies (including a group from the Czech Republic), the USA and Canada.

While the Italian market will be the main target of the companies at Progetto Fuoco, there is no reason why the event cannot provide an opportunity for international trading between countries with insufficient fuel output and those with a more abundant supply.

The pellet industry will also be represented in the PF-Technologies section, where there will be pellet production machines, loading systems for boilers, storage silos and tankers for pellet transportation and distribution.

AIEL -Italian Agro-Forestry Energy Association- Technical Partner of Progetto Fuoco will lead a drive to raise awareness of ENplus certification for pellets. In its special area in pavilion 2, it will run a large number of workshops with the following aims:

- To ensure that customers only buy pellets from ENplus-certified organizations.
- To inform end customers that it is best to buy pellets during the off-season.
- To encourage organizations with uncertified tankers to ask for ENplus certification, as failure to do so may result in them losing business and being unable to provide pellet certification to end customers, as required by Italy’s Renewable Heat Incentive and other incentives.
- To provide all businesses, installers and designers with accurate information about ENplus certification and promote the initiative with support from AIEL.
